Congratulations! If you are reading this, you likely have been blessed with or are expecting a precious new addition to your family. Your baby will change tremendously in their first year of life; scheduling a newborn session ensures these fleeting moments will be remembered forever.
It is my honor and joy to provide a low stress in home lifestyle newborn session. I work with your baby + family to capture all the sweet details and connections with natural, beautiful posing prompts.
CAPTURING THOSE FLEETING FIRST MOMENTS
THE NEWBORN EXPERIENCE
With lifestyle newborn, I do not need the baby to be a certain level of sleepiness for our session. Therefore, the age of your baby at the session can vary greatly. I like to leave room for this flexibility to make sure you, sweet momma, are ready to have me in your home! I have done newborn sessions as early as 7 days old or as late as 10 weeks. I feel confident we can capture gorgeous images of your family within this time frame!
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Many women feel comfortable in long flowy dresses at their newborn session. If this isnt you, consider jeans and comfortable sweater/top. My main advice is that you wear something that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Lifestyle newborn sessions will typically take place in your home in just one or two rooms. Typically this is primary bedroom, nursery, or living room. Sometimes, I will simply position you where the lighting is best.
There are also many local studio options available to rental if that is your preference.
what location should i choose?
Please book me as soon as you are ready! I only am able to take a specific number of due dates per month, so the sooner you book me, the more likely I will be able to provide these services for you!
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU?
If schedule allows, I will travel up to an hour outside of Virginia Beach. There is a travel fee incurred for sessions outside of a 35 mile radius of my home. Sometimes, I am not able to accommodate travel due to scheduling conflicts.

HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE?
To book is $75 deposit which goes towards total due day of the session. Most handle this over Venmo or Zelle.
